At Nyayo Farms, we are committed to delivering high-quality farm products, livestock, and fresh produce with integrity and transparency. This policy outlines our procedures for delivery, returns, and refunds to ensure clear expectations and customer satisfaction.

🚚 1. Delivery Policy

a. Delivery Areas

We deliver across Uganda, with our main dispatch points in Amuru District and Gulu District. For bulk and regional orders, we partner with reliable third-party logistics providers.

b. Delivery Timeline

  • Local deliveries (within district): 2–3 working days
  • Upcountry/Uganda-wide deliveries: 3–7 working days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on availability, location, and weather conditions.

c. Delivery Charges

Delivery fees depend on the distance and size of the order. Charges will be communicated at the time of order confirmation. Some offers may qualify for free delivery within selected areas.

d. Delivery Method

  • Livestock is delivered through specialized animal transport with proper handling and ventilation.
  • Produce and other goods are packaged to preserve freshness and hygiene.

e. Delivery Confirmation

Upon dispatch, customers will receive:

  • A confirmation message (email, SMS, or WhatsApp)
  • Estimated delivery time
  • Contact information for the delivery agent

💰 2. Refund & Return Policy

a. Livestock (Goats, Sheep, etc.)

Due to the live nature of the animals, refunds or exchanges are not guaranteed once animals are delivered in healthy and agreed-upon condition. However, refunds or replacements may be considered if:

  • The animal is delivered in poor health (within 24 hours of delivery)
  • There is a mismatch in breed, sex, or age from what was agreed.

Conditions:

  • The issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Visual proof (photos/videos) may be requested.
  • A veterinarian’s report may be required for health-related disputes.

b. Farm Produce (Gonja, Yams, Coffee, etc.)

We accept returns or refunds for:

  • Spoiled or damaged produce upon delivery
  • Incorrect or incomplete orders

Conditions:

  • Must be reported within 12 hours of delivery
  • Items must not be consumed or altered
  • Refund or replacement is processed within 3–5 business days

c. Other Farm Products (Hay, Fodder, Accessories)

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours
  • Provide clear details and proof
  • Return shipping (if needed) will be covered on a case-by-case basis

💼 3. How to Request a Refund or Return

To initiate a refund or return:

  • Full name and contact info
  • Order number or description
  • Issue description
  • Supporting photos or video (if applicable)

Once verified, we’ll issue:

  • A replacement
  • A refund to your mobile money or bank account
  • Or a voucher for future purchases

📌 4. Exceptions

  • No refunds for buyer’s remorse after animals are delivered
  • No refunds for delays caused by force majeure (flooding, political unrest, etc.)
  • No refunds for damage caused by the customer after delivery
